  5. This version of We-Blocker is primarily intended to address as many
  6. known issues as possible that were discovered in version 1.5 and to
  7. add a few user requested features. Additionally, We-Blocker 1.6 adds
  8. further support for customized channel version.

  13. 1. Random 'Update DB now?' dialogs no longer occur.

  21. 5. Fixed parsing of specific types of server headers (/n vs /c).

  81.    no crashing when initializing the DB.

  84.    provides a distinction between blocking and unblocking.

  86. 3. Added cancel buttons to login form.

  88. 4. Systray Icon no longer gives acces to controls until fully booted,
  89.    no longer giving the user access to the controls without a
  90.    parental password.

  92. 5. DB blocking lookup now removes any trailing peroids that the user 
  93.    could enter to bypass the DB lookup.

  96. 1. Added word blocking as a user defined option.

  98. 2. Listed Database version, Application version, and Build ID to
  99.    About tab in the We-Blocker controls.
  100.  
  101. 3. Add ability for We-Blocker to send Application version and build
  102.    ID to interface CGIs for notification for user to upgrade.

  104. 4. Added ability to export history log to text file.

  106. 5. Left mouse click is equivalent to right click on system tray icon.
  107.  
  108. 6. Added title to several forms that were missing titles.

  110. 7. Added ability to change field size in history log.

  112. 8. Added ability to disable guest account forcing individuals to 
  113.    log-in as a user.

  118. Known Issues:  There are no known issues or incompatibities at the 
  119.                time release.

  127. 1. Fixed double shutdown issue that some Windows 98 users were
  128.    experiencing.

  132. 3. Fixed problem with non-parent users being able to access the
  133.    controls.

  135. 4. Fixed random "Document Contains no Data" error message in Mozilla.

  138. 1. Added support for Windows Help engine.

  140. 2. Fixed database issues:  Synchronized Authority database, Application
  141.    database, and Web Lookup Database.  Also Updated Shipping
  142.    Application database to reflect all updates.

  144. 3. Setup allows user to choose if they want to override their
  145.    setting to the controls to the installation defaults.

  147. 4. Added support for Internet Explorer 5.x.
  148.  
  149. 5. Added wider support for Netscape 4.x custom install paths.
  150.  
  151. 6. Wider firewalls/proxy server support, including automatic setup
  152.    of proxy settings on installation based in IE pre-install settings.

  154. 7. Added proxy server setup in controls (no reboot required).
  155.  
  156. Known Issues:
  157. 1. If computer is shutdown or reboots at the same time the daily DB
  158.    update is being imported the DB is corrupted.
